Gingerbread Junction
November 22nd - January 1st, 2013
Home building never looked so sweet! Bring your family and friends for a stroll through the 17th Annual Gingerbread Junction and see the largest display of Gingerbread Houses in the Pacific Northwest. These creative and extravagantly decorated gingerbread homes will be on display in the Sunriver Lodge through December 29th.
Proceeds from "lot" sales of Gingerbread Junction homes will benefit the Newberry Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit organization that works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent affordable housing in Southern Deschutes County.

Teddy Bear Lunch at Meadows at the Lodge Restaurant
Saturday, December 22nd |12:00-2:00pm
Parents and children of all ages welcome for a fun family lunch including a special appearance by our very own live Teddy Bear along with a custom children's lunch menu. Open to all families and children, including those who may have also participated in our Bear Factory and we encourage all children to bring their favorite Teddy Bear.
Warren Miller's "Flow State"
December 21st and 28th | 7:30pm
For the 63rd year in a row, Warren Miller Entertainment brings you to this moment, and each moment that follows, from peaks as far flung as India and as nearby as New Hampshire. The common themes are snow, steeps, and the skiers and snowboarders who throw themselves into both with an abandon that amazes and inspires us all. Check with the concierge for movie location.

Elf Tuck-Ins
Fridays and Saturdays beginning November 24th, December 20th - 24th | 7-10pm
Visions of sugarplum fairies will dance in their heads after Santa's helper reads your children a favorite Christmas story and says good night with warm holiday wishes. Appointment times available from 7-10pm. Tuck-ins available to Sunriver, Crosswater, and Caldera Springs communities. Ages 12 and under only. Reservations required with a 24-hour cancellation policy or full program fee will be charged. Your elf can deliver your personal gift for $10/gift.
$20/per child, Resort Guests; $25/child on Christmas Eve.

Santa's Workshop
Fridays, November 30th - December 14th | 3-5pm
Saturdays, December 1st - December 15th | 1-5pm

Step into the magical world of Santa's Workshop and create your own hand-crafted holiday keepsake like fused-glass ornaments or painted ceramic mug worthy of Mrs. Claus' Hot Cocoa. Santa's Workshop is located in the Yurt between Fort Funnigan and the Bike Barn and is only open during craft sessions.
**Please allow 30 - 45 minutes to complete your masterpiece as the workshop closes promptly at 5pm to allow for additional programs ** Children 12 and under require parent supervision.

The Bear FactoryTM
Saturdays, November 24th - December 29th | 10am-12pm
We're excited to bring you the official Bear Factory stuffed animal collection. Choose from a variety of bears, kitties, and doggies that you will hand stuff to achieve the perfect hugability. Dress your new friend in an outfit suitable for a holiday party or a day at the beach. Beary cool! Reservations are required and available in 15-minute intervals. 24-hour cancellation policy or full program fee will be charged. Located at Santa's Workshop.

Sunriver Music Festival's Christmas Concert
Friday, December 14 | 7:00 PM
Location: The Homestead
Chuck Israels' Jazz Orchestra of eight of Portland's most accomplished players and two vocalists will be performing original renditions of the great American jazz masters as Armstrong, Ellington, Charlie Parker, and Miles Davis, as well as Christmas arrangements.

Tree house Puppet Theatre Presents . . .Look Who's Coming Down The Chimney!?
December 15th, 21st, & 22nd | 7:00pm
Location: North Pole (Upper level of the Lodge)
Ricky and Rocky raccoon hide behind the Christmas tree to discover Sammy skunk and many other uninvited guests coming down their chimney! Will they be able to stop the wild ruckus before Santa Claus comes?

Sunriver Resort Magic Show
Friday December 14th Thursday December 20th & 27th | 7pm
As if the holiday season isn't magical enough, we're bringing in Mr. Magic for an evening of humor, interaction, and of course, magic! Free for Resort Guest with ID Card. $5/General Public; children 12 and under are free with paying adult. Located in the Sunriver Resort North Pole.
Gingerbread Junction will be closed from 7-8pm on nights of Magic Show.
Sleigh Rides

Open Daily December 15th - January 1st
Treat your family to a time-honored tradition with a One Horse Open Sleigh Ride at Sunriver Stables. Sleighs hold four adults and two children comfortably under warm winter blankets. Open weekends in December 15th - January 1st weather permitting. Cost is $100 per sleigh. All rides begin at the Sunriver Stables. Rides available for $125 on holidays (December 24, 25, 31 and January 1).
‘Twas the Night Before Christmas
December 24th | 7-8pm
Join us for holiday trivia, caroling and a live presentation of the treasured holiday poem that made Santa a household name. Located at the Homestead. Free Admission. We will be collecting donations for the Wonderland Express instead.
New Year's Eve Party at The Lodge (Owl's Nest)
Monday, December 31 | 8pm - close
Dance and party the night away at the biggest New Year's Eve Party in Central Oregon. $50 cover charge includes live entertainment, passed hors d'oeuvres, party favors, professional photographer, and champagne toast at midnight. New Years Eve Family Night
Monday December 31st | 7:30-10pm
The family that plays together stays together... and gets to bed at a reasonable time. Enjoy interactive board, arcade games, and our favorite selection of Wii games. Win prizes throughout the night and enjoy ice cream sundaes! We will countdown the New Year with the East Coast at 9pm with a sparkling cider or champagne toast. A no-host bar will be available for select beer and wine. Adult participation and reservations are required. 48-hour cancellation policy of full program fee will be charged.

Rockin' New Year's Eve Teen Dance
Monday December 31st | 9pm-12:30am
Celebrate the good times of 2012 and welcome 2013 with a black and white themed dance party. Aka. . . wear clothes that are black, white or both and you'll be perfectly matched to the parties décor! Prizes for BEST DRESSED (keepin it real!!) along with favors and mock-champagne toast at midnight.

Polar Bear Plunge
Tuesday January 1st | 10am
Start the New Year with a splash by taking an icy plunge into the Lodge Village Pool at 10am. Hot chocolate served to warm your bones. Free for those brave enough to take the plunge.

A breakfast buffet with Santa and Mrs. Claus is sure to be at the top of your child's wish list for years to come. Reservations required. 36-hour cancellation policy. $24 adults; $12 children 6-12; complimentary for children 5 and under.
Brunch with Santa at the Great Hall

Have brunch with Santa and all of his Sunriver friends in the Great Hall. There will be great food and fun characters to mix and mingle with, too! Reservations required. $36 adults; $18 children 12 and under; complimentary for children 5 and under. 36-hour cancellation policy.

Come test out all of our favorite activities as we squeeze them all into one evening. We'll be playing, creating and discovering everyone's favorite activities from the last year. Find your hands tangled up in some Flubber, and turn milk different colors before we do a pepper experiment! Don't miss out on all the fun!
Elves-In-Training
Wednesday 9-4
Kids - get yourselves ready for a visit from jolly ol' Santa Claus. Spend the day with us to see what it takes to get ready for Christmas. We'll create some reindeer food recipes sure to satisfy even the pickiest of them. You'll design some tree trimming creations that will be the perfect ornaments to give and will be fitted with your very own elf hat! We will also attend Traditions events when available.
Games Galore

Come to Fort Funnigan for an exciting evening full of everyone's favorite games like freeze tag, hopscotch and Four Corners. We'll create works of art with golf balls while we continue having a ball throughout the evening. Don't miss out on the games!
The Candy Factory

Why do arts and crafts with paint and glue? We think it's much more fun to create stuff from candy,
frosting and more! Come and see how delicious you can make your own candied bracelets. The pictures
you'll paint will taste even better than it will look, and we'll make an ordinary lollipop
extraordinary!
Holiday Fun Factory

Visit Fort Funnigan and see how much fun you can have during your winter break! It's all about holiday fun here, especially for those young at heart! Here you will find everything sugar, spice and everything nice. We'll make a holiday masterpiece that will capture the spirit of the season. Join us for some foliday fun!
Winter Wonderland

At Fort Funnigan's Winter Wonderland, you won't find any assembly lines here- just pure holiday excitement! We'll play games and make crafts that show off our holiday excitement. We will also attend Traditions events when available. Be sure to bring your snowsuits and boots; we'll be sure to play outside with the snow!
A Rockin' New Year's Eve
Monday., Dec. 31 | 6:30pm-12:30am
Fort Funnigan is the place to be for lots of rockin' fun this New Year's Eve. Everyone will custom design their own cardboard guitar - perfect for rocking out all night long. Let your inner-rockstar come out as we practice our air guitar and sing out to WiiTM Disney Sing It. Our star-style will shine as we create Individually unique microphones and sunglasses.
