Imagine horse-drawn sleighs prancing through fields of fresh snow. Towering trees ablaze with bright holiday lights. Children catching snowflakes with red peppermint tongues. It's all yours at Traditions, a magical holiday celebration filled with a festival of trees and teddy bear teas. Below is a sampling of over 150 family events from Thanksgiving to New Year's Day. Grand Illumination November 25
Join us to commence the Holiday Season with Grand Illumination! Stop by our NEW Santa's Workshop filled with fun for the entire family including arts and craft activities, face painting, hot chocolate and more surprises. Meet our huggable holiday characters, watch an ice carving demonstration and enjoy food treats from food vendors. Don't forget to visit Gingerbread Junction and cast your vote for the People's Choice Awards for your favorite homes.
4:00PM- Santa's Workshop opens. Enjoy live holiday music on the main stage in front of the lodge.
5:30PM- NEW TIME THIS YEAR-- Join us for our parade and lighting festivities. Photo opportunities with Santa and Mrs. Claus will commence after the parade on the main stage.
7:30PM- Start the season with a special Warren Miller film (admission: $5 for Resort Guests and Children 12 and under; $10 for General Public)
* Be sure to allow plenty of time to park. Shuttles will leave from the Community Church and drop guests off at the Great Hall where they will proceed to the Grand Illumination festivities.
12:00 pm HOLIDAY MARKETPLACE OPENS ~ The Great Hall, Homestead Building
2:00 pm PONY RIDES AND PETTING ZOO OPENS ~ North Pole Lot

4:00 pm NORTH POLE OPENS ~ Sunriver North Pole at the Main Lodge
Features: Mr. Magic, Ice Sculpting Demonstrations,
food & craft vendors, crafts for kids, and visits from Holiday Characters
GINGERBREAD JUNCTION OPENS ~ Sunriver Main Lodge Abbot Room

5:30 pm LIGHTING OF LODGE & SANTA'S PARADE ~ Sunriver Resort Main Lodge Features: Santa line will start immediately after the parade, next to the main stage.
7:00 pm NORTH POLE CLOSES ~ Sunriver North Pole at the Main Lodge
7:30 pm WARREN MILLER MOVIE ~ Sunriver Resort Great Hall, Landmark Room Cost: $5/Resort Guests; $10/General Public
