Don't let the warm, dry fall season fool you. Most of Oregon's meterorologists and climatolgists are forecasting a colder and wetter than normal winter in Oregon due to La Nina effect this season. Which of course means, MORE SNOW! And not just any kind of snow, but fluffier, "powderier" snow that Central Oregon and Mt. Bachelor is known for.

Back in 1968, the developers of Sunriver Resort wanted to create a resort community that discouraged auto travel and encouraged folks to get on their bikes. 35 miles of paved, level bike paths wind through Sunriver's 3,300 acres and for decades bikes have been the preferred method of transport.
