Sunriver Resort Report

In recognition of the International Year of Astronomy, marking the 400th anniversary of Galileo's telescopic observations, the Washington Post recently selected seven of the world's best destinations for stargazing travelers. Sunriver Resort made the list. Other resorts included Kona Village Resort on the Big Island of Hawaii and Pic du Midi, Observatory and Hotel in La Mongie, France. View the article here.

A Gas company just concluded their annual Board meeting here at Sunriver Resort.  When I asked the group’s Event Manager, what she enjoyed most about coming to Sunriver, she said without hesitation, “The deer”.

Those that have visited Sunriver Resort have most likely heard the old adage: "Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes". Well last week Central Oregon lived up its reputation of being a place where "erratic" weather behavior can alter plans a bit.
