This January, the Housekeeping Department at Sunriver Resort became a hospitality partner of Clean the World. By turning in soaps and amenities that the guests left behind, we are not only recycling, but also saving lives. All soap and amenities, which are usually just discarded, will be donated to the Clean the World program in Orlando, FL. From there the amenities will be collected, sorted and sanitized. The amenities will then make their way to domestic homeless shelters and impoverished countries suffering from high death rates as a result of acute respiratory infection and diarrheal disease because they have no soap.
