Sightings of the Crosswater elk herd have been made only a few rare times this winter, with photos of these majestic creatures even more difficult to capture. However, the herd made an interesting early-morning trip to the northeast corner of our property to pay a visit to our Maintenance staff last week. The words “Think Safety” provide a reminder to our staff members as they exit the barn to work on the golf course, but perhaps the words have a different meaning to the herd looking for shelter from the harsh winter weather…
