June 28, 2013 - June 30, 2013. The 17th Annual PACIFIC CREST Weekend Sports Festival will be held June 28-30, 2013 in Sunriver, Oregon. ABOUT THE PACIFIC CREST WEEKEND SPORT FESTIVAL Each year, during the last weekend in June, athletes, joined by their family and friends, converge on Central Oregon to take part in the Pacific Crest Sports Festival. The Pacific Crest is known as the jewel of multi-sport events in the Northwest and has become a destination race for athletes from across the nation as well as internationally. The Pacific Crest Weekend begins on Friday morning, and the Celebration continues through Sunday. The weekend will include a Health & Fitness Expo, great food, beer garden, live entertainment, fun, camaraderie, and to top it off, some of the best competitive racing you will find in the country. July 04, 2013. LOCATION: The Parade meets and begins at the Outpost parking lot. TIME: Please be decorated and prepared to ride by 10:15am The parade begins at 10:30am. THE COURSES: The course starts at the Outpost parking lot and proceeds to the Village for judging and celebration. REGISTRATION: Form coming soon. Entry is $10/pre-registered bikes (register by 5pm July 3rd) No day of registration available. Bike parade participants receive a Sunriver water bottle. *Please remember Oregon State Law requires anyone 16years and under to wear a helmet. PRIZES: Prizes will be awarded for bike decorations. Registered bikes will be entered into a raffle for kid-friendly prizes. Read More
4th of July Fun Run
July 04, 2013. LOCATION: The race starts on the west side of Sunriver Lodge. TIME: Pre Race warm up 7:45, the race begins promptly at 8am. THE COURSES: 4.75 mile run: The course winds clockwise around a flat, asphalt bike path loop of Sunriver property with scenic views of the Deschutes River, the Sunriver Stables, the Sunriver Airport, and Paulina Peak. 3 mile run or walk: The course heads west from the Lodge to the airport and around to the 1.5 mile mark and back. REGISTRATION: Registration form coming soon. Entry fee is $25/pre-registered runner (register by 5pm July 3rd. Pre-register by 5pm on June 24th for participation and a lightweight runners 4th of July Fun Run shirt. After the date of June 24th we will only be able to special order t-shirts to be shipped to you at a later time. 2013- Pre-registration is required for all participants. We will have no day of registration available. PRIZES: Ribbons will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place male & female finishers in each group for 3 and 5 mile runs only.
