We are proud to announce that the Inaugural Sunriver Marathon for a Cause raised over $16,000 for the Oregon and SW Washington Affiliate of Susan G, Komen for the Cure. Thank you to everyone who participated; runners and volunteers. We hope you will join us next year, September 1-2, 2012 for another run through some of Central Oregon's most scenic trails.
Thank you, also, to our sponsors who made this race possible. Without their support we would not of had our wonderful New Balance tech tee-shirts, the goodie bags, Gatorade (thanks to Pepsi Bend), and the wonderful food selection at the finish line.
With the race a month behind us we are already planning for next year. For you runners that like the 10K distance, we will have a race for you next year. Registration for 2012 will open before the end of the year!

This was one of the most enjoyable courses I have run in years. The scenery and conditions were perfect. Love the finish. This is a must do event!
