This program program is dedicated to practices and programs that pay respect to, and lessen our footprint on, our changing environment. Below are a few ways in which Sunriver Resort is reducing its engery consumption.
- 90% of guest rooms have compact fluorescent light bulbs.
- 65% of lobby lights, hallway, meeting rooms and restaurant lights have been converted to high efficiency lighting.
- 75% of offices, kitchens stairwells hallways and staff areas have been converted to high efficiency lighting.
- 99% of resort buildings have light sensors or photo seals on outdoor lighting.
- All guest rooms have been equipped with low-flow shower heads and tap aerators.
- 85% of guest rooms have been equipped with low flow toilets, toilet dams or tank fill diverters.
