Sunriver Resort Report

This past March Sunriver Resort unveiled an extensive customer service training program in which all associates are required to participate. Groundskeepers, servers, shuttle drivers, managers - everyone at Sunriver Resort has now completed training.

The program called, PILLARS, is an interactive exercise designed by the Freeman Training Group for all Destinations Hotels & Resort properties. PILLARS defines our behaviors as support structures which hold Sunriver Resort secure and stable.   The program includes role plays, videos, and lectures, giving associates a look into where Sunriver Resort’s guest’s expectations are formed and teaching each person how they can positively impact the guest experience.

The program content is best described in Maya Angelou’s quote-
“People will forget what you say; people will forget what you do; but, people will never forget how you made them feel.”

Sunriver Resort operates based on a Culture that holds trust, open and honest communication, and having a commitment to one another and our jobs as the three most important principles.  Now, today with the integration of this culture and our new PILLARS training, Sunriver Resort is sure to make this summer one to remember!
