Northwest Dodge Dealers Pacific Amateur Finals
The Crosswater Club at Sunriver Resort is hosting the culmination of one of the largest amateur golf tournaments in the U.S. today – the Finals of the 2009 “Pac Am.”
Each year, up to 775 players from around the world compete on terrific Central Oregon golf courses, against 25 or more “Flight Mates,” and in traditionally difficult weather conditions in an effort to win their respective flight and ultimately, to claim the title as Overall Pac Am Champion.
After three days of net stroke-play competition across seven golf courses, this year’s 675 competitors will be reduced to two finalists in each of 30 flights, who will then compete for the overall Championship. The sixty players that play well enough to reach the decisive final test at Crosswater will be playing for trophies that are as unique and prestigious as the event itself.
Good luck golfers!
