This Labor Day weekend, September 3-4, Sunriver Resort is proud to host the inaugural Sunriver Marathon for a Cause which will include a 5k, half marathon and full marathon winding through the communities of Sunriver, Crosswater and Caldera Springs. All net proceeds of the event will go directly to the Oregon SW Washington Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen for a Cure.
The passion and excitement from everyone involved is electric. The newly formed race committee is busy nailing down the final details of the event, including a detailed map of the three courses which we will post on the Race Landing Page soon.
We are also pleased to partner with St. Charles Healthcare System and Sara’s Project. For every runner that signs up for the Heaven Can Wait 5K on June 5th and/or any Sunriver Marathon for a Cause event, Sunriver Resort will donate $10 to Sara’s Project to help with Central Oregon breast cancer programs.
