The Democratic Party of Oregon is returning to Sunriver Resort for their 2009 Oregon Summit this weekend. They will have a number of very highly placed elected officials in attendance and many will be speaking during their programs. We're expecting visits from Senators Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, Congressmen David Wu and Peter DeFazio, in addition to the senior democratic leadership of the Oregon Senate and the Oregon House of Representatives. Of course one of the major topics of discussion will be health care reform.
