Traditions Family Concert at Sunriver Resort
SUNRIVER, Ore. Dec. 12, 2006 ... Only days before Christmas, Sunriver Resort will celebrate the holiday season in rhythm with Victor Johnson and friends. The concert will be held from 4:30-5:30 pm, Saturday, December 22 in the Homestead at Sunriver Resort. And before the concert, children can experience the joy of music and be part of a band in the special drum workshop from 3:30-4 pm.
The family-style concert will include classic holiday songs that are fun for everyone. It will feature a full acoustic band with special guest vocalist, "It Mom" Holly Resnick from Fox 12 TV in Portland, Ore.
Victor's music has appeared in Nick Jr., Parenting, Blues Revue and Curious Parent magazines as well as NPR and children's radio shows nationwide. He has won several awards including two Parents' Choice Silver Awards for his Country Blues for Kids and Kid at Heart CDs. And Johnson has been featured on Oregon Public Broadcasting's Art Beat.
