Sunriver Resort's Crosswater Golf Club Prepares for Championship Season with New TalentPaul Pastoor has been appointed to food & beverage manager, Ronnie Quigley has assumed the membership coordinator position and Josh Willis has been promoted to head golf professional at Crosswater Golf Club.
Pastoor will transition from Sunriver Resort's interim food & beverage director to food & beverage manager at Crosswater Golf Club. He will manage the Grille at Crosswater, the Turn and the Pub. Pastoor has more than 25 years of international hotel and resort experience, boasting food and beverage leadership roles and resort general manager roles. Most recently, Pastoor was the VP of operationas at Pronghorn Club. In addition to Sunriver Resort, he has worked for other Destination Hotels & Resorts properties, Lodge and Spa at Cordillera and PRestige Resorts and Destinations.
Quigley comes to Crosswater Golf Club with experience from a similar role at Broken Top Club. She also owned and operated a wedding and event planning business and currently co-owns Top Spin Tennis and Racquet Sports in Bend, Ore. She is an avid skier, runner and tennis player. Quigley lives in Bend with her two children.
Willis is a PGA Apprentice graduate of the Professional Golf Management program at Mississippi State University where he spent six years working and learning under the direction of PGA Professionals. He joined the Crosswater family in May of 2001, returning each summer until coming onboard full time after he graduated in May 2004. Last year, Willis developed an intern program with his alma amter, Mississippi State University, establishing a pipeline of eager and talented aspiring golf professionals.
The JELD-WEN Tradition, Oregon's biggest golf event and one of five major championships on the Champions Tour, will be held Aug. 13-19 at Crosswater Golf Club. The tournament has moved from Portland, Ore., to Crosswater for at least the next four years, while NBC has announced it will televise the event's final two rounds.
