SUNRIVER RESORT NAMES NEW F&B DIRECTOR

SUNRIVER, Ore., June 20, 2007 … Sunriver Resort, a perennial AAA Four-Diamond property located 15 miles south of Bend, has named Adrian Gonzalez as its new food and beverage director.

Gonzalez comes to Sunriver Resort after having spent 23 years at upscale resort properties with Hilton Hotels and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. He has served as food and beverage director at eight other properties, including Sheraton Ixtapa; Sheraton Acapulco; Conrad Hilton and Westin Regina Resort (both in Puerta Vallarta); Hilton Newark (N.J.) Airport; Hilton Walt Disney Resort (Orlando, Fla.); Hilton Americas—Houston; and Westin Mission Hills Resort & Spa (Rancho Mirage, Calif.).

Gonzalez, his wife, Staci, a commercial airline pilot, and son, Logan, 11, have recently relocated to central Oregon.

In related news at Sunriver Resort, Justin Young is the new general manager of Meadows at The Lodge restaurant, while Teresa McVannell is its new service manager. Young comes from San Jose, Calif., where he was general manager of Pasta Pomodoro restaurant. McVannell was most recently manager of McGrath’'s Fish House in Bend.

Sunriver Resort also is home to other food and beverage facilities, including The Grille at Crosswater, The Pub at Crosswater, The Owl’s Nest, Merchant Trader Cafe and McDivot's Cafe.
