Sunriver Resort Celebrates Denver Flight

SUNRIVER, Ore., July 14, 2006 ... In celebration of new jet service linking Denver to Central Oregon, Sunriver Resort, a Destination Hotels & Resorts property 15 miles south of Bend, Ore., is offering Denver-area residents an attractive getaway package.

The resort’s “Miles of Summer Smiles” package — available now through Sept. 4 — starts at $1,323 for a seven-night stay in one of the resort’s Lodge Village guestrooms, or at $1,499 for a comparable length stay in one of the resort’s impressive inventory of more than 400 family-friendly private two-bedroom homes or condominiums. Guests who opt to stay in a private home or condo also will receive the Sunriver Resort FunPak, featuring $1,000 in resort and recreation discounts.

SkyWest Airlines began operating the 50-seat United Express flights on June 10. Available Saturdays and Sundays, the two-hour direct route takes passengers from Denver International Airport to Roberts Field in Redmond, Ore. (RDM), 35 miles north of Sunriver Resort. (Airfare and flight reservations are the sole responsibility of the guest and are not built into the package or the package price.)
