Sunriver Resort Calls for Applications for 2012 Summer Season

Improved application process implemented to increase efficiency for all

(Sunriver, Ore.) — As Sunriver Resort readies to hire hundreds of employees for the 2012 summer season, an improved hiring format is already in process. Adopted by the Human Resources department to provide qualified candidates a more streamlined experience, the format of hosting one large job fair for all open positions is being replaced with a three-phased approach starting this spring. The new approach takes the following format:

Phase 1 – Call for Applications
Sunriver Resort begins the process here, by revealing a list of open positions and their respective application deadlines. Applicants must visit Sunriverresortjobs.com to complete an application for assessment by the Human Resources team.

Phase 2 – Invitation
Candidates are then invited to attend a job fair specifically for the Department in which they have applied. Those who are selected for a job fair visit have already been assessed as qualified candidates, and will receive an invitation via email to attend.

Phase 3 – Job Fair
Once candidates have received an invitation, they will have an opportunity to meet face-to-face with the hiring manager for their role. Upon receiving a contingent job offer, candidates will be expected to pass a drug test and background screening.

The incentives for adopting this process are twofold: First, this process is better suited to a digital age, where scheduling and geography play less of a role during the first phase of decision-making; secondly, this saves time for both parties, so that candidates who aren’t right for a position are not expected to visit the Resort before learning so.

Sunriver Resort will announce a call for applications for the following positions on various dates this spring.
