Sunriver Resort Announces Third Annual Month of Chocolate

Central Oregon Resort Invites Guests to “Let Your Taste Buds Run Wild” This February

(Sunriver, Ore.) — A third annual Celebration of Chocolate will take place this February at Sunriver Resort, offering decadent activities for athletes, children and lovers alike. The month-long celebration includes a variety of specials across the property, culminating with the Chocolate Festival Weekend just after Valentine’s Day.

Highlights of the Chocolate Festival Weekend February 15-17, 2013 include:

Run for Chocolate 5k Race at Sunriver Resort
Let your taste buds run wild at this 5K run/walk benefiting the La Pine High School Athletic Department. With a Chocolate aid station and other chocolate goodies for all, runners are sure to enjoy this winter wonderland race. Each finisher will receive Holm Made Toffee and Tricia's Truffles. The race begins at 10:00 AM on February 16 outside the Main Lodge; advance registration is advised. 

Martinis & Manicures at Sage Springs Spa

Indulge in a Chocolate-inspired Happy Hour at Sage Springs Spa on Friday, February 15.  Sip on delicious Chocolate Martinis while receiving a 25 minute manicure using local organic handcrafted chocolate products. Young spa clients are also welcome – juniors can enjoy hot chocolate and a mini-manicure!

Wine, Beer, Chocolate Tastings and Vendor Showcase

Join us at the Sunriver Main Lodge as local chocolate experts  help guests pursue a litany of culinary passions: wine, craft beer, spa products and chocolate delights.

Chocolate and Winemaker's Four Course Dinner
