SUNRIVER RESORT ANNOUNCES PARTNERSHIP WITH PRESTIGIOUS SHAWN HUMPHRIES GOLF PERFORMANCE SCHOOLS

(SUNRIVER, Ore.)-Sunriver Resort has partnered with the prestigious Shawn Humphries Golf Performance to introduce a series of single- and multi-day instruction schools at the resort for the 2009 golf season. Humphries, one of GOLF Magazine's "Top 100 Teachers In America," also operates a Golf Performance School at the acclaimed Cowboys Golf Club near Dallas, Texas, where he has provided instruction to the likes of Clint Eastwood, Bill Parcells, Troy Aikman and Tony Romo.

"Having Shawn and his Golf Performance School here throughout the summer will give resort guests as well as locals an opportunity to learn from one of the top teaching professionals in the country," said Jay Lee, director of sales and marketing for Sunriver Resort. Rates for the Shawn Humphries Golf Performance School programs range from $50 for a one-hour beginner introduction, to $1,495 for four days of intensive instruction in all aspects of the game. Programs and packages that will be offered in 2009 include:

Daily Instructional Programs
Two steps to a perfect golf swing clinic: Beginners can join Shawn and his team for an hour of instructional training to get their game on track with two simple steps. Classes are limited to 12 participants with a student-to-teacher ratio of 6:1. Includes a copy of Shawn's book, "Two Steps to a Perfect Golf Swing." Cost is $50 per person.

Golf performance clinic: The golf performance clinic is designed to assist intermediate golfers with their swing fundamentals. Topics include applied practice in full swing, pitching, bunker, and distance wedges. Sessions are 90 minutes and are limited to 12 participants with a maximum student-to-teacher ration of 6:1. Cost is $75 per person.

Individual, Group and Junior Instruction
Private instruction: Provides 60 minutes of private, tailored instruction for golfers of all levels. Junior (17 & under) rates range from $45 with a staff instructor to $100 with Shawn Humphries. Individual rates range from $65 to $150. Twosome/couples rates range from $85 to $200. Family (up to four people) rates range from $100 to $250. Nine-hole playing lessons (including green fees) range from $175 for one golfer, to $300 for two golfers.

Junior fundamentals programs: Teaches junior golfers (ages 7-12) the basics of the swing and short game, as well as etiquette, rules, and sportsmanship. Program is offered for $35 on Mondays and Tuesdays from 2:30-4pm.

Golf Performance Schools (four-day program)
Four-day, three-night intensive instructional program that covers all aspects of the game. Includes group and individual training, video swing analysis, playing with Shawn Humphries Golf Performance School instructors, breakfast and lunch daily, as well as evening receptions and a closing awards luncheon. Rate is $1,495.
