SUNRIVER RESORT AGAIN EARNS AAA ‘FOUR-DIAMOND’ DISTINCTION
SUNRIVER, Ore., May 25, 2006 … For the seventh consecutive year, Sunriver Resort has earned the coveted AAA Four Diamond designation as awarded by the American Automobile Association. Sunriver Resort is one of only 12 lodging properties in the State of Oregon, and the lone one east of the Cascades, to receive the AAA Four Diamond rating for 2006.
Only about 4 percent of the estimated 32,000 AAA-rated lodging properties in the U.S., Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean earned the Four Diamond designation this year. According to AAA, Four Diamond properties “are upscale in all areas. Accommodations are refined and stylish. The physical attributes reflect enhanced quality throughout. The fundamental hallmarks at this level include an extensive array of amenities combined with a high degree of hospitality, service and attention to detail.”
The AAA designation is the most recent honor to be bestowed on Sunriver Resort, which earlier this year was named a “Gold Medal” resort by GOLF Magazine, one of the “Top 50 Ski Resorts” by the readers of Cond ast Traveler, and one of the country’s “Top 10 Getaways for Family Togetherness” by Family Travel Forum.
