CRAIG PETERSON PROMOTED TO REGIONAL DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING FOR DESTINATION HOTELS & RESORTS

Peterson to oversee engineering teams and operations at Sunriver Resort, Suncadia Resort and Skamania Lodge

(SUNRIVER, Ore.)—Craig Peterson has been promoted to Regional Director of Engineering for Destination Hotels & Resorts. As such, Peterson will be responsible for overseeing the engineering teams and operations for Sunriver Resort in Sunriver, Ore., Suncadia Resort in Cle Elum, Wash., and Skamania Lodge in Stevenson, Wash. Peterson previously served as Director of Engineering for Sunriver Resort, where he will maintain his current responsibilities. 

“Craig’s leadership skills and experience will be a huge asset as we move to unify our engineering resources among the three regional properties,” said Tom Luersen, Pacific Northwest Regional Managing Director for Lowe Hospitality Group. “He will work closely with the engineering teams at each property to make the best use of all of our available resources.”

Peterson joined Sunriver Resort as Director of Engineering in 2006, where he will maintain his current responsibilities in addition to traveling more frequently to Suncadia and Skamania. Most recently, Peterson oversaw engineering and construction of Sunriver Resort’s new marina and stables facilities, both of which earned LEED Silver Certification from the US Green Building Council.
