The Sunriver Stables offers a wide range of equestrian experiences including; pony rides, half-hour to 8 hour trail rides, lessons, hay wagon rides, sleigh rides and merchandise. Reservations are required for all trail rides. Pony rides are given on a first come first served basis.

Sleigh rides, trail rides and pony rides are available (weather permitting). Reservations required for all sleigh and trail rides. Reservations may be made for four or more persons on days the stables are closed, with 48-hour advance notice.

Get it right from the horse’s mouth. Sunriver Stables is the perfect place to saddle up for adventure. Guided trail rides are available for guests of all experience levels from beginner to advanced riders. Instruction is provided prior to all rides, and riding helmets are available. Minimum age for half-hour and one-hour trail rides is 7. Longer rides, minimum age 10.

Pony Town is a fun way for the little buckaroos ages 2-6 to enjoy the Stables! The adorable Shetland ponies are just the right size for the little rider. First-come, first served-basis.
- Summer Horseback Riding Lessons:

Whether you want to learn the basics of grooming, saddling and riding, or just want to polish up your riding skills, we offer all levels of instruction. All lessons are private and take place out on the trail or in an arena environment. Call for times and reservations.
- Summer Hay Wagon Rides:

Enjoy a fun-filled family hay wagon ride in our Old West buckboard-style hay wagon. This scenic half-hour ride travels through the Sunriver Meadow along the Deschutes River. Available evenings by reservation.
- Summer Carriage Rides:

A fun carriage ride is the perfect way to see Sunriver. Times available at guests’ request with advance reservations. Vis a Vis carriage holds 4 adults and 2 children comfortably.
