Canoe, Cave & Volcano Tours
Canoe secluded high Cascades Lakes, experience remote caves in helmets and headlamps, explore the crater of an ancient volcano or discover hidden clues in the wilderness on a GPS Eco-Challenge. Local naturalist guides bring the area alive for you! No experience necessary: all ages and ability levels welcome. All equipment, plus pickup service included-half-day trips leave daily at 9:00am and 1:30pm. Reservations required.
Downhill Waterfall Mountain Bike Tour
This downhill/waterfall mountain bike tour is a safe, fun family excursion for all active ages. You will descend over six miles down a smooth, gentle, winding forest trail, on your mountain bike, to the creek below. Visiting six pristine waterfalls and playing on the two natural water slides will be the highlight of your vacation. Reservations required. Bike and helmet included.
Fly Fishing & Spin Fishing
Cascade Guides & Outfitters provides Sunriver's only professional Orvis endorsed fishing guide service. Lakes or rivers, classes, a complete fly shop: it's all here and available daily in Sunriver. We supply everything you need for a guided full or half-day adventure and have equipment available for rental. Daily beginner classes for families and adults are available.
Join us for an exciting game of Capture the Flag. Come alone or with friends and family. Private games may be arranged any day of the week with a maximum of 20 players. Reservations required. Available year-round.
Mountain Bike Tours
Offering guided bicycle tours for ages 13 and up. All experience levels welcome.
Ready for a little higher education? Join us for guided rock climbing trips to Smith Rock State Park, one of the world's foremost climbing destinations. Families are our specialty.
Whitewater Rafting Sun Country Tours
Ride the rapids on professionally guided whitewater rafting tours. Enjoy convenient daily departures from both Sunriver's Village Mall and Bend. Trips from 3 hours to all-day. Children 6 years and older welcome on all trips. Reservations required.
Mt. Bachelor, just 18 miles west of Sunriver, is a skier haven. Enjoy 3,683 acres of terrain with 1,600 acres groomed daily. Mt. Bachelor offers 7 Express Quads, 3 Triple Chairlifts and 2 Surface lifts to get you up the mountain. The Pine Martin Lodge located at mid mountain (9,065 ft) offers breathtaking views of Broken Top Mountain, the Three Sisters and Mount Washington. The mountain also features a freshly cut 400 ft Super pipe (the first and still the best pipe on the West Coast), an Air Chamber and a slope style area for those snowboarding enthusiasts. Shuttle service is available to take resort guests to the mountain. All lift tickets are available for alpine skiing and snowboarding. The Nordic center at Mt. Bachelor keeps 56 kilometers of trails groomed.

In the sparkling snow-clad Cascades, experience the amazing joy of snowshoeing in the care of the area's most experienced guides. Guides give lively interpretive presentation about the animals and plants active in the winter world. A three-hour adventure will let you follow the animal tracks, discover winter ecology, and have fun.
Sled Dog Rides
Not many people have the opportunity to experience the thrill of riding in a sled pulled by racing dogs! The standard trip is about 1½ hours and takes the riders swiftly through the forest on a sled that runs on dog power.
Snowblast Tubing Park
Where the rubber meets the snow for an exhilarating ride full of twists, turns and rolls. Surface lifts are built with the latest technology to pull you up the slope comfortably and quickly. Once at the top choose from seven sculpted lanes, then, let gravity do the rest!
Guided Tour of the High Dessert Museum and Lava Lands
Trek around the top of Lava Butte for vistas of Oregon's backbone, the Cascade Mountain Range, and 10 miles of lava below. Your guide can unveil the geologic story before embarking on a visit to the riches of culture found at the High Desert Museum. Your guide will reveal insights to the museums incredible displays. If interested, the museum also has a café open for lunch.
