My favorite memory, and place to go in Sunriver is Fall River. It is a ten minute drive from the Resort, and you feel like you are in the middle of Narnia. Going there really allows me to experience all the beauty of truly trekking it in the Great Pacific North West. From driving to the forest, to turning onto the bump, dirt forest road (I always enter from the forest road), to the short hike along the river where you pass some log cabin ruins.and finally, ending at the fall. It is the perfectly small waterfall where you can fly fish, pick nick, tan, and even tie a raft up and float out in the crystal green lagoon at the base of the fall all day. Not to mention, I get to bring the pups and seeing them that happy makes my day. This is truly ne of my favorite spots in the world.
